The Browser Compatibility page allows you to test your browser's compatibility with the Web Bill Processing Portal secure web environment. From this page you can determine the following information about your current browser's compatibility with our site:
Your current browser and browser version
What browsers and browser versions you can use
How to upgrade your browser and encryption strength
How to configure your browser to use SSL version 3.0
To be compatible with this web site's security features, we require that you use one of the browsers listed below.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with 128-bit encryption
Netscape Navigator 7.0 with 128-bit encryption
Whichever browser version you use, it must support 128-bit encryption (also called "strong", "domestic" or "U.S." encryption). The 128-bit version of a web browser gives you the highest level of protection possible whenever you use our online application over the Internet. To check the encryption strength of your browser, follow these instructions:
From the menu bar choose "Help" then choose "About Internet Explorer"
Look for the cipher strength information.
If the cipher strength is 40-bit, you will need to upgrade your browser.
From the menu bar choose "Help" then choose "About Navigator"
Within the encryption information you should see the line "This version supports U.S. encryption".
If the line reads "This version supports International encryption" you will need to upgrade your browser.
If you need to upgrade to a new browser or upgrade the encryption strength of your current browser, go to the Netscape or Microsoft Site.
From the Menu, choose "Tools"
Choose "Internet Options"
Choose the "Advanced" Tab
Scroll down to the "Security" heading
Check "Use SSL 3.0"
